FINCA SANTA ROSALIA



Finca Santa Rosalía, located in the municipality of Vizmalo, province of Burgos, is a quiet and charming place where we have been carefully breeding animals and making wine for some years. The same care is given to breeding our red-legged partridges as our Wagyu cattle, looking after the life cycle of each animal from beginning to end, using special breeding and husbandry systems with rigorous standards to guarantee animal welfare as well as food safety in the final product that reaches the consumer.

 

Due to its genetic characteristics, meat from the Wagyu breed is one of the most highly appreciated in the world, with an exquisite taste and tenderness as well as healthy properties for the consumer, being meat with a high content of omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids. The flavour, aroma, tenderness and juiciness of this meat make it a healthy and unique delicacy that leaves nobody indifferent.

The red-legged partridge, being a wild bird, (thus incomparable with the culinary characteristics of commercial or industrial poultry such as chicken), lays few eggs and only during the season, so it transmits to the eggs all the essential nutrients for life, giving them great taste and a low concentration of cholesterol and fat, making them exquisite, healthy and highly digestible for human consumption.

 

Our ecological wines come from the best grapes in our vineyards, which surround the winery. Using exclusively biological farming techniques, we give our wines indisputable quality that has been acknowledged by numerous national and international awards. Our wines are characterised by their singular taste and natural aroma, but also because they are devoid of chemical contamination.
